If you have ever looked for ways to customize your Android phone, you would have probably come across the term Xposed Framework. In case you don’t know what it is, the Xposed Framework is one of the easiest ways to install modded applications without having to flash them via a custom recovery. Simply install the particular module that you want to add or modify and explore the changes.

Not just tweaking the user interface or looks, you can even increase the device performance and add/modify system level functionality with Xposed Framework.

Benefits of Xposed Framework

With Xposed Framework, you can add features or functionalities that your smartphone manufacturer has not implemented in your Android phone. For example, Google has dropped support for the ability to control the cast devices’ volume using the volume keys on your phone running Android 12. But, you can bring back this feature by installing the Cast Enabler module. There are some modules also that can increase your device performance by increasing the CPU speed.

Modules are the primary advantage of using the Xposed Framework. You might have installed a new custom ROM (for eg. Pixel Experience, Havoc OS, etc.) on your phone to add new functionalities. But what if I say to you that you do not necessarily need to change the custom ROM to get new features. You can simply install the particular module using Xposed Frame to add that particular feature. You do not need to replace the existing custom ROM.
